The purpose of an airplane hangar is to store and protect your airplane or other aircraft from the elements when not in use, so it is important that the hangar be able to withstand those elements itself. RHINO’s hangar kits are made with commercial grade steel, which is non-combustible. The roof and wall panels are purlin bearing rib (PBR) steel, which has a 25-year guarantee and allows for more metal contact in construction and maximum weatherproofing. Our steel building kits can protect your aircraft from fire, lightning, high winds, heavy snows, and earthquakes.
Customize Your Airplane Hangar
Many metal building providers only provide predesigned kits, allowing specific sizes, door types, and so on. And while RHINO offers a few pre-existing, standard kits for those who want that simplicity, we also provide the option to completely customize your hangar to get exactly the look and attributes that you want for your hangar.
Our standard designs can clear span up to 150 feet across and up to 40 feet tall, though we can extend these much longer and taller with a custom design. You can place hangar doors where you need them, 45 or 60 feet wide, in a variety of styles — sliding doors, bifold or overhead doors powered with electric or hydraulic lifts, insulated doors, and even certified wind rated doors. The steel paneling used for the walls and roof can be made in a variety of colors that can be matched by gutter systems, if you choose to add them. We can also add skylights, windows, and person-sized doors wherever you want or need them, along with our Pro-Value Insulation package.

When the kit arrives on site, it arrives with instructions for easy construction. Pieces are made to overlap and slot together for increased strength and weatherproofing and come with bolts and self-drilling screws to keep every step as simple as possible. All of our panels and framing are made with steel, the most recycled material in the world, to contribute to furthering eco-conscious efforts.
