How Long Does it Take to Deliver a RHINO Building?

You’ve got a dream building in mind — now how long until it becomes a reality? Here’s when you can expect to receive your RHINO prefab steel building delivery.

Estimating Your Delivery Time

Calendar icon and sand timer icon with question markWhen you receive your free quote from RHINO Steel Buildings, we will provide you with an estimated lead time in addition to your estimated cost. It’s important to keep in mind that this building delivery date is truly an estimate — you won’t receive your real delivery date until the order is actually placed.

Your estimated delivery date will depend on our current lead times, but it also depends highly on the complexity of your prefab steel building. The more intricate or unique your building design is, the longer you can expect your lead time to be. Because we pay attention to the details at RHINO, we want to ensure that the building you get is the building of your dreams — so naturally, more complex buildings will take a little more time.

When to Order Your Steel Building

We recommend reaching out for your building quote at least 6-12 weeks prior to needing delivery. This is because the majority of our buildings can be delivered in this 6-12 week time frame. This quick turnaround is due in part because RHINO has multiple shipping locations across North America, so we can usually ship your building from whichever location is closest to you.

It’s important to note, however, that delivery times will depend on how busy we are, current steel shipping times, and other factors that are not always in our control. Though rare, it’s possible that RHINO could be booked 5-6 months out, so keep that in mind!

How to Get Your Order Faster

If you want your prefab steel building shipped to you as quickly as possible, there are a few things you can do. First, choosing a simpler building design will make it easier to get you what you need quickly. And second, being ready to place and process your order right away will speed things along. The longer you wait to officially order your building or make payments, the further out your delivery date will be. For this reason, many of our customers actually like to plan and budget for their buildings a year or so in advance. That way, when they are ready for their building they can place their order and get the ball rolling as soon as possible.
