RHINO Celebrates Ponder Homecoming
It’s homecoming season in North Texas: a time to celebrate our local schools, businesses, and community. This year, RHINO was thrilled to be a part of the 6th Annual Ponder Homecoming Parade in Ponder, TX, located just outside our hometown of Denton.
The parade kicked off at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, September 9, with colorful floats, waving walkers, and the RHINO Steel Building Systems truck in tow. Since the Ponder ISD main school colors are red and white, RHINO's own red, white, and black truck, balloons, and prizes fit right in.
RHINO is proud to support Ponder Elementary, Ponder Junior High, and Ponder High students, teachers, and clubs, as well as the rest of the Ponder community. This year’s homecoming parade gave us a chance to show our enthusiasm and love. We even brought goodies like candy, bracelets, footballs, fans, and koozies for kids and families along the route to collect.
We loved being a part of the parade, and congratulate the Ponder Lions on their homecoming win against Farmersville — final score 35-16! We look forward to celebrating with you again next year for parade number 7!
