CARTHAGE, TENNESSEE - Rhino recommended an erection contractor for our new indoor arena for football and provided (of course) all the steel building materials. We could not be happier with the way everything came together and this new arena will be a source of pride for the Smith County Owls and our community. The new building is 100′ x 200′ x 20′ and we’ll be installing astroturf next week.

We’re in the final stages of construction in Marble Falls, Texas. The building will house The Aladdin Home Store. This major project was 25,000 square feet that required more than 100 cement trucks from midnight to midnight over 24 hours… just to complete the slab work. With a tile roof and extensive front facade, customers will never know the building has steel frames. They have promised us some pictures when the job is completed, but this one is worth a field trip - more to come later.

NEW JERSEY - Hugo Neu recently selected Rhino Steel Building Systems to provide the pre-engineered steel building materials for their plant in New Jersey. Hugo Neu is a privately owned company based in New York and principally involved in the recycling business as well as real estate development.
The new building houses very large “separating equipment” and requires a 38′ tall ceiling. This pre-engineered structure was sold by Rhino on a 110′ x 138′ footing. According to Bruce Brown, president and CEO of Rhino Steel Building Systems, Inc., “We don’t usually provide building heights of this magnitude, but the integrity of our buildings stand up well at this height.”

A close affiliate of Hugo Neu disposed of most of the metal scrap coming from New York after the 9-11 incident. It was then recycled into many useful applications.

Rhino Steel Building Systems, a popular marketeer of steel buildings, has contracted with Capps, Cassiday & Associates for delivery of eight pre-fabricated buildings that have been shipped to various U.S. border locations. From these shipping points, Capps, Cassiday & Associates further ships these buildings to destinations including Mexico and Alaska. Building applications are varied and include manufacturing, warehousing and laboratories.

According to Bruce Brown, president and CEO, “Steel buildings are gaining in popularity around the globe for a variety of practical reasons.” Advances in insulation and adaptability in harsh environments are key purchasing considerations for pre-engineered steel buildings.

Rhino offers a variety of structural systems that accommodate a wide variety of building sizes and eave heights. Clear span models eliminate the need for interior columns, thus allowing for more efficient usable space inside.

Rhino buildings are pre-engineered at the factory and shipped unassembled to any point in the continental U.S. With companies like Capps, Cassiday & Associates, Rhino’s buildings are beginning to expand their marketing reach.

CARLS CORNER, TX. – Willie Nelson announced his latest fuel center bring cleaner burning fuel – this time to a retail station in Carls Corner. Rhino Steel Building Systems was selected to provide the steel building materials pre-engineered for the specific needs of the new center. The new building is 134′ x 98′ with a rustic wood facade. Biodiesel, a diesel fuel substitute made from soybean oil and other natural fats and vegetable oils, works in any diesel vehicle. It can be used in pure form or blended with petroleum diesel. The most common blend is B20, a mixture of 20 percent biodiesel and 80 percent diesel.
Biodiesel fuel can reduce dependency upon foreign oil. This can help struggling Texas farmers find new uses for their crops. According to the Department of Energy, Biodiesel has become America’s fastest growing alternative fuel . Biodiesel and biodiesel blends reduce emissions while offering similar performance to petroleum diesel.

Bruce Brown, president of Rhino, stated that “I’m very happy to have Mr. Nelson join our family of customers and hope to be of help in the future for any building needs and also be a small part of this important trend in energy conservation.”
